Thought Alton Brown isn’t my favorite chef on Food Network, mostly because of his personality, his burger recipe looks like one I’d definitely be willing to out if there wasn’t so many different meats involved.

While College browsing in Boston with my family, my mother brought us to this lively, playful restaurant that she had visited a couple weeks earlier. The restaurant, Cuchi Cuchi, tries to encapsulate the vibes of the 1920’s, all the waitresses are dressed in full costume and there is music to match. My salad, the Warm Baby Beet & French Sheep Cheese Salad, was not only very colorful aesthetically but was also very colorful flavor-wise. For dessert, my family ordered, not one but two French Banana Bread Extravaganza’s, they were so delicious and filling, we could’ve had one for each of us.

I went to Sarabeth’s TriBeCa with my family and I was wildly pleased with the food I had ordered. First I had a salad that they no longer have on the menu that had beets and sweet potatoes over a bed of greens and a potato puree on the side. The whole dish was light but the flavors were very full. As an entree I had the “Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers” which were mind-blowing. Each burger had a different cheese, the three of which were cheddar, gruyere and blue cheese. The picture also captures how much both my sister and my mother loved the french fries.

Whenever my mother goes shopping on Sundays for groceries for the week, she usually gets a ball of mozzarella for us to have with Sunday Dinner. Often, because my sister can’t cook nor prepare food, I make the caprese salad. Every weekend I make it, it always shocks me how much I enjoy eating it, it’s honestly one of my favorite dishes, easily.

Every weekend I make it, it always shocks me how much I enjoy eating it, it’s honestly one of my favorite dishes, easily.

As often as I make crepes, there almost always sweet. After spending my night making crepes for a bake sale for a club, I decided to make my last crepe a savory one. I just poured in some tomato sauce and sprinkled some grated Parmesan cheese and it was as simple as that.
